Already they show her dedication to her craft and her quickly growing confidence behind the camera. According to biographer Pamela Bannos, Maier was so insistent with her camera that some people in her family's French village thought she might be a spy, and she ended up being questioned by the police about her photography. Overall excellent condition. Some scattered hairline scratches to some sheets visible in raking light. Sheets curl slightly. Deckled edges to all sheets. Sheets are loose, not framed.
