-Distinctive style: a fusion of American pop art, European surrealism, and a narrative, cartoon-like aesthetic. -Humor, provocation, and storytelling: Copley's narrative imagery plays with taboos and social conventions. - Since the 1960s, his paintings have featured motifs from the “Wild West”, one of the core genres of American cinema. - Other paintings from the 1990s are part of, among others, the collections of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Museum Frieder Burda in Baden-Baden. - Most recently, his paintings were part of major exhibitions at the Institute of Contemporary Art / ICA, Miami (2018/2019) and in the Philara Collection in Düsseldorf (2023/2024).

A characteristic work, in good condition. Minimal signs of wear along the edges of the image. A diagonal trace of rubbing in the center of the lower half of the image. Small white paint deposits on the lower left edge of the image, likely resulting from the production. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the aid of a UV light source, and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
