A Mezcala Stone Figure Guerrero, Mexico, c. 700-300 BC Strongly carved dark green stone in form of a muscular figure, deeply carved facial features with remains of red cinnabar at the mouth. Grooved brows and nostrils. Conical drill holes through nose septum. In very good condition, scattered light mineral encrustation.
