Some buckling to the canvas in the upper half of the work, most apparent under raking light. Frame abrasion at edges. Some yellowing to the varnish layer. Faint, finely patterned craquelure. A very few scattered small dots of discolored accretion. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. A brushy area of retouching in lower left quadrant, corresponding to location of aforementioned patch. A few scattered dots and dashes of retouching at edges and in the sky area.
