- This motif, based on photographs by Gerhard Richter, is exemplary of his view of landscape. - The depiction of the Swiss Alps in an almost abstract form creates a tension between natural representation and artistic interpretation. - From October 2025 to March 2026, the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris hosts a major retrospective on Gerhard Richter.
