- The artist pays homage to her late husband Yves Klein, the famous representative of Nouveau Réalisme, in bold blue. - Rotraut Klein-Moquay's monochrome works transform familiar shapes and symbols into expressive compositions. - At the age of 21, Klein-Moquay had her first solo exhibition at the New Visions Center Gallery in London in 1959. - The artist's works are in numerous international collections, including the Musée d'art moderne et d'art contemporain in Nice, the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum in Krefeld, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
