The pochoir is based on a gouache by Albert Gleizes and was created by Robert Pouyaud under the artist's supervision in Paris between 1927 and 1929. The date “1924” mentioned above refers to when the gouache that served as a template was made. According to Anne Varichon's catalogue raisonné, the exact print run is unknown.
