This work is characterized by its intense colors and a varied application of paint. In some areas, the paint application is delicate and translucent, in others, it is strong, rich, and opaque. There is some craquelure and flaking, with slight blistering of the paint layer in places. Some tiny areas of paint loss and small, professionally executed retouches, particularly in the center left of the light blue color field, running horizontally, and at the top and bottom edges of the painting in the dark red and blue areas. On the unpainted canvas, there are faint, slightly brownish smudges. In the lower right corner, there is a diagonal smudge mark in the yellow color field. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the aid of a UV light source, and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
