Slominski placed a bucket full of water between the books and shelves of the museum shop. The white bucket was initially empty. Slominski commissioned a plumber to install a water pipe. The main pipe was uncovered on the back wall of the toilet and Slominski's pipes were connected, with a tap fitted to the end of the copper pipes. The water now flowed through this pipe into the bucket. Once it had done its job, the pipe was removed again and the hole in the wall bricked up. Only one trace remained: the plastic bucket full of water.
