A quaint image of carp. The condition of the work is consistent with its age. Sheet is backed. Mild toning throughout the sheet. A few minor marks throughout the sheet, do not appear to majorly impact composition. Some minor skinning evident along a crease line in the upper right quadrant around the red seal. Marked creasing, buckling, and dents throughout the sheet, however, sheet appears to lay flat. Several small wormholes throughout the sheet with two evident along the right edge, two in the upper right quadrant (masked by backing) and one in the lower left quadrant in the carp's gills, partially masked by the composition. Vestiges of adhesive and hinging along verso edges and in corners; the adhesive in recto upper right appearing as a minor stain recto. Unframed.
