A Dutch Mahogany Liquor Chest with a Set of Partial Gilt Glass Liquor Bottles and Tray, circa 1850s 8 x 3-1/4 x 2-1/4 inches (20.3 x 8.3 x 5.7 cm) (tallest, stoppered bottles) The list comprising: 8 stoppered bottles; 1 small stoppered bottle; 1 tray. 10 Total Property from the Collection of Frederick H. The eight partial gilt stoppered bottles, tray, and accompanying mahogany chest all present well. Scattered rubbing to gilt details throughout, commensurate with age and use. Two bottles contain liquid—stoppers are secured. Scattered chips to rims of bottles, one with area of professional restoration to neck. Wear to box's velvet interior, as expected with age. Loss and splits to box's proper left side at base; dent across cover and subsequent split to center. Box's key no longer extant.
