Lined canvas. small faint accretions most noticeable in sky. Few small white surface accretions, notably under central figure's raised arm and on hookah lower left. Scattered areas of fine craquelure.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green. Scattered small dashes of retouching, primarily in face and hair of woman second from the right, with additional retouching in woman 3rd from left and farthest man to the right.
