Unlined canvas; there appears to be faint stretcher creases and craquelure; pigment appears thinner in some areas; under UV exam, there appears to be several areas of scattered tiny dots of inpainting, most notably above deer and to the left of buck; possible strengthening to outline of buck's antlers and face as well as doe's legs; inpainting in doe's belly and between legs; sections of inpainting to the left and right of Buck's legs as well as between legs.
