Condition Report
Framed: 53 1/2 x 74 inches.
Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is laid to board; network of craquelures throughout; areas of slight rubbing to paint and pinpoint paint losses scattered throughout; passages of the canvas are visible in the upper center, possibly from overcleaning; pinpoint white paint droplets scattered throughout; inpainting visible under raking light, particularly along the upper half of the composition, as well as a likely repair extending from the upper left corner to the center left; frame abrasions along all extreme edges; under a highly reflective, thick varnish. Under UV light: varnish prohibits full viewing of possible inpainting, although passages fluoresce throughout the surface. Additional images available upon request.

The physical condition of lots in our auctions can vary due to age, normal wear and tear, previous damage, and restoration/repair. All lots are sold "AS IS," in the condition they are in at the time of the auction, and we and the seller make no representation or warranty and assume no liability of any kind as to a lot's condition.
