Description

A very fine impression, showing only minor signs of wear in the dark areas. Before the reworking in the dark shading between the sleeve and the tree as well as before the rounding of the sleeve. Labelled by Nowell-Usticke as “R+” and with “A scarce print”. The plate was lost early, there are no late prints. With thread margins.- The upper corners carefully repaired. Paper barely age-marked, small mounting remnants on verso, there with minor paper thinning, otherwise in a very good condition.
