The work is a design for the new building of the Stuttgart State Library. It was a commissioned piece, but the commission was later cancelled.



Condition:
Low canvas tension. Raised places in the jute’s texture have been slightly rubbed in places. Minimal discolouration at the edges. Otherwise in very good condition. Inscribed in the frame.
