- Harmonious depiction in the artist's unique style. - After his stays in Jershöft, Schmidt-Rottluff discovered the area around Lake Leba in Pomerania as a source of inspiration. - Exhibited in 1989 in the comprehensive Karl Schmidt-Rottluff retrospective at the Kunsthalle Bremen and the Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus in Munich.
The work is documented in the archive of the Karl and Emy Schmidt-Rottluff Foundation, Berlin.
