註：本箑原為吳湖帆應弟子王季遷請，擬王蒙筆意者，題曰「別求蹊逕，百計脫去舊套」，用心可見，或兼具課徒傳道之意。後歸滬上「絨線大王」沈萊舟（1894-1987），沈氏，號弱餘軒主，江蘇蘇州人，早嵗學徒滬上，一九二七年創辦「恆源祥」，四六年當選上海毛絨線商業同業公會理事長，四九年後任市政協委員等職。他雅好書畫，時獲名家寫贈，藏扇尤精。一九五九年，沈氏以此扇倩八十高齡之王福厂書，彼時距王氏謝世不足一載，為其極難得之最晚年書作。
