Ken Lieberman Labs was one of the few photography labs capable of producing dye-transfer prints, a time-consuming and difficult process, in sizes this large. Pete Turner took this photograph in 1959 with his Nikon SP at the Great Zimbabwe National Monument. In 1969, Eric Meola, manager of Turner's suggested printing the image with a vibrant green filter. In 1972, CTI Records released Eumir Deodato's Grammy-winning album "Prelude" with this image as the cover.
